What causes incontinence in women?

• Pregnancy and childbirth: The pressure of the baby on the bladder during pregnancy can weaken the muscles that support the bladder. Childbirth can also damage these muscles.

• Menopause: Oestrogen levels decline during menopause, which can weaken the muscles that support the bladder.
