No, we do not offer this service.
Yes, this is an NHS service! Please make a free appointment on our website.
There are many reasons to be exempt from paying for prescriptions, especially if you are aged under 16 or 60 years and over. A full list can be found here.

Unfortunately, we do not have any more capacity to complete dosettes for our patients. Sometimes a dosette is not the best method to help a patient, your practice pharmacist may be able to perform an assessment and determine the best option that will be most helpful.
We do deliver medications to our housebound patients, they do have to be in to receive the medication, they cannot be posted through or left in a porch for safety reasons. For those who may want access to medication outside of work hours we also offer the 24/7 self-service machine.
The NHS use our clinic rooms to offer various services, however they manage the bookings themselves, we cannot book patients into the physiotherapist directly.
We offer a free emergency hormone contraception (morning after pill) during the pharmacist opening hours. This involves a consultation between the pharmacist and the person needing the medication, so they do need to attend the pharmacist in person.
Yes, we are currently offering the NHS COVID 19 vaccinations (October 2023).

Pharmacists handle sensitive data, sometimes for rather vulnerable people. Therefore it is generally not appropriate to offer work experience placements.
Of course someone can collect medication on your behalf in most circumstances. However, if they are collecting medication that is classed as controlled drugs they will need to bring identification, as per the regulations.
Currently you can only have BCG vaccinations within hospitals, so we are unable to offer this service.
We understand how frustrating it can be when your medications are out of sync, however we are unable to sync them back up for you. Try to make a note of how many you have of each medication before attending an appointment at your GPs, so they can help you to be able to collect your full repeat medication all at the same time again.
We offer a private service for ear wax removal, available by making an advanced booking. This can be booked over the phone or via our website.
We recommend that olive oil ear drops are used for 7 days prior to the micro suction, so the wax is softened, and is more likely to all come out.
The price is £30 for 1 ear, and £55 for 2 ears, regardless of age or circumstance.
Some GPs still offer free travel vaccines, but this is decreasing in number. If your GP no longer offers free travel vaccines, you can meet with one of our trained pharmacists to have a free travel consultation to discuss your needs. However you will need to pay for each vaccination, regardless of age or if you get free prescriptions.
Sorry, we do not offer rapid blood sugar tests.
We do not offer instant cholesterol level tests. We do however offer tests for cholesterol levels as part of our blood testing service. Please phone or call in to book an appointment.
Unfortunately we do cannot provide the monthly weight loss injection to new clients, as per the national guidance. Ozempic has proved to be a very popular medication and there are some national shortages for this medication at the moment. We can offer other options, so feel free to book in for a weight management consultation.
