Ingrowing toe nails can occur for a number of different reasons such as cutting the toe nail incorrectly, wearing tight fitting shoes, through injury or due to the natural shape of the toenail.

ROUTINE FOOT CARE

We provide routine podiatry/chiropody care at our clinic whether this is general nail cutting, callus or corn removal. We are able to book patients back in on a routine interval to meet their podiatry foot care needs whether this be every six or eight weeks.

Manual treatment of the myofascial system at specific anatomical points restores normal glide within tissues which helps to restore pain free function...

We provide tailored foot care for all your children’s needs from verruca, ingrowing toenails to the provision of insoles for developmental foot problems such as flat feet, club foot or limb length discrepancies.

DIABETES FOOT CARE

It’s especially important to look after your feet if you have diabetes.

Heel pain is extremely common, most heel pain is caused by plantar fasciitis. However it can also be caused by a stress fracture, tendonitis or arthritis.

If you are worried about your verrucae and/or self-treatment is not working and/or the verrucae appears to be getting larger or more painful, please visit our clinic.

There is a few treatment plans available depending on the location, size and severity of pain of the verrucae. All treatments will depend on a full assessment of your general health and well-being.

TOM SANDY
BSc(Hons)

Tom joined Gold Standard Footcare once achieving a first-class honours degree in Podiatry from the University of Salford.

Tom previously undertook a degree in biology from Sheffield Hallam University giving him a strong baseline knowledge of pathologies.

Tom is very into Personal fitness and is keen to utilise podiatric strategies to help aid in sporting and musculoskeletal injuries. Tom is very friendly and approachable and always puts the patient first when providing care.
